Shiok Burger!

I’m not usually a fan of burgers, but I love satay. Combining the two together would be a uniquely Singaporean experience. Satay is essentially marinated meat skewers barbecued to perfection. Mmm~
The Shiok Shiok Satay burger comes in two different varieties: Chicken and Beef. Of the two, I preferred the beef because well, I love my cow. And boy, were they generous with the patties. Two slices of beef patties were jammed in between two fluffy buns, along with cucumber slices and onion strips. The sweet peanut sauce that almost always goes with satay wasn’t forgotten too. Wished they drizzled more though. The chicken burger was no less delicious. The meat was tender and succulent. After the heavy meal, we got to wash it all down with the refreshing Strawberry McFizz drink. Love the little strawberry bits.
This marks my very first Blogger invite event and I enjoyed every minute of it, meeting other local bloggers and enjoying a meal together. Of course, where there’s food… there’s some entertainment as well. We were given a crossword puzzle to solve to test our proficiency in SINGLISH! The fastest three Bloggers with the most accurate answers won an awesome Singlish notebook (I was one of them. Hee!) Launched in conjunction of Singapore’s National Day in August, the Shiok Shiok Satay burger will be available at all Mcdonald’s in Singapore from Tuesday, 15th July.. while stocks last! Do grab them when you can, it’s really yummy.
