    Introduction to Naples

    June 11, 2018 / No Comments

Chaos: the one word to describe the largest city in Southern Italy. I don’t mean all chaos is bad; it can be good chaos too. I’ve done my extensive research before deciding to base myself in Naples, and was well aware of the bad reputation of the crimes, the trash and the lack of glitz and charm unlike her northern sisters, Florence and Milan. Nonetheless, I arrived in Naples with a ‘come what may’ attitude and a small luggage, ready for the next four days. • This guy is a badass on basket boats.
  • Couple goals: Cruising down the river on a basket boat towards the sunset. My love, do you hear me? I need a holiday, now!
  • When you got lost and stumbled upon this glorious sunset. Worth it.
  • High in the sky we can see the whole world down below, we’re walking the tightrope. The cable car ride up Bana Hills offers one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen. And I’ve been to Cape Town’s Table Mountain.
  • They say if your fate is not tied to a person, even if they’re right in front of you, you might not see them. I don’t know how we managed to lose our friends on the 200 metre-long bridge, but we did.
  • Handsy.
  • Borcsht to warm my cold insides up this spring morning... and every morning. I had the best butter with the toast- it’s salty and gritty, with hints of spice. I was too shy to ask what it was, but couldn’t find it on Google either. Can any Russians help a hungry girl out here?
  • Happy International Women’s Day from Russia! It’s a big thing over here, where women are celebrated with lots of love and flowers. I got a bunch of these beautiful yellow mimosa flowers walking into the Singer House. Ladies, it’s our day. Let’s forget our troubles for awhile, go out and have some fun! We deserve it.
  • This cappuccino at the birthplace of coffee packs a good punch.
