I come home from a very long day of walking around two whole malls across the causeway to find the perfect vest for Ummar. Oh, the hours and hours of walking we had to do. We had our eyes on one, but it was pretty pricey so we decided to look around to see if there was something else cheaper and nicer. There were a couple of cheaper options, but nicer? Nope. None. Nada.
So when we finally went back to where we started, and he slipped on that damned vest, I tried my best not to stare. The T-shirt he was wearing ruined the whole look, but I can totally imagine him in a full suit.
“That thing really looks good on you,” I said.
Just a week ago, he’d lamented that the day I give him a compliment, cows will come home. I wonder if cows did come home that day. Wherever home was.
Imagine my dismay when I pried open my Macbook of 5 years to find it dead. Like, completely dead. Death by dim green charger light. I tried everything Google said to do in the event of that happening, but to no avail.
Out comes my ancient Macbook White of 8 years. And by ancient I meant the old, clunky matte white interior generation of Macbooks that runs on OSX 10.5 Leopard. Yes, Leopard. Not even Snow Leopard. Looking at how the Mac OSX has shifted from the cats generations to, um, El Capitan, my Macbook is pretty old…. and barely breathing.
Everything is basically out of date with this Mac. And I can’t even update my Google Chrome because it doesn’t even support my version of the OSX. Which means, this is going to make life very difficult for me.
Therefore, till I get to work on a machine that is more stable, I am going on hiatus. So please don’t miss me too much. Or you know, you can donate to the Get-Intan-A-New-Laptop fund. Your help would be very much appreciated. (jokes.)
