No I haven’t fallen off the surface of the earth. Just dedicating a lot of my free time to working and the other half of my time to writer’s block. Plus a 7-month road block had lifted recently and it’s taking me on a transitioning phase that I’m really excited to embark on. More details when more things are confirmed. Fingers crossed.

Spent a good part of February in cold, winter countries. Had the privilege of spending 4 days in Wuhan, China where we spent some time going through the wholesale markets, and enjoying blind man massages and a few cheap drinks. Food we were comfortable with were ridiculously expensive, but occasionally were brave enough for street food. No regrets though.

I took a few hours to myself to explore Wuhan, away from the luxurious part of town where our hotel was located, to where the locals were. I enjoyed watching people going about their routine, bargaining for cloths and choosing new electrical appliances for their home.. or wandering into the public apartment complex and watched a few people battle their skills at Chinese chess.

The language barrier was definitely a problem. Because I didn’t have wifi outside the hotel, I heavily depended on screenshots to find things and get around. Taxis are cheap, and the public transport cheaper. We had fun going through the night markets. Unfortunately, like Beijing, pollution is a huge bummer.

The toilets though, are the worst. Bring a roll of toilet paper EVERYWHERE you go. Or learn the hard way like I did.
